ObAMBER 3 COMMERCE FOR ALTERTISING FOR. THE FISCAL

WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 641, New Series, and. by Resolution
No. 2643, the Gounbil of the City of Alameda has appropriated. the sum of
$3000.00 to be used. for publicity or advertising for said City. for the fiecal
year ending june 30, 1942; and
WHEREAS, thb Alameda Chamber of Commerce is willing to undertake thb
work of advertising the City of Alameda and to carry 01 13 tte necessary
publicity for said. City during the said fiscal year; ann
WHEELAB, the production of such abvbrtising and publicity requires
services of a professional and techeited nature and special technical. skill
and facilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED PT TEE COMMIE OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the City of Alamedu enter into a contract with the Alameda Chamber of
Commerce for the carrying on by said Chembor of Commerce of all necessary'
publicitr . and. adNertising on behalf of the City' of Alameda for the fiscal. year
ending Tune 30, 1942 providbd tbb obligation of the City for the productibt. of
such. advertising and. publicity-, and the services End. we: be performed.
said advertiser, including reimbursement to Advertiser for its overhead. expense
in pToduoing such peblicity and.. abvertising, shall not ex0 eed. in tfte aggregate
the sum of $3700.00.
FESTITEE FURTHER that a form of contract to be entered into by and
between the Alameda. Chamber of Commerce anb tho City of Alameda submitteb te
the Council and. filed with the City Clerk of' the City- of alamona this and
the terms, agreements and .. provisions thereof be, and the sane are nereby,
approved.
