Resolution 02647RESOLUTION NO. 2647 ISBOVIDIN FOR THE AMUUT717 PHD DIEM FUR ORD'ICENS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDE FUR REVEIFNG FEYFFSFS taxphi) WHEREAS, Section. 22-7 ef the Chartem of the City of Allamhda requires that the Council annUally fix the per diem alldwence for traveling expenses of officers and employees of the City; NOW, THFRIFURE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF' THE CITY air ALAMEDA that whenever any officer or employee of the City' shall, under the authority of law and, except for routine duties, on authorlzation of the Council, leave the City' for the purpose of performimg any official. duty for or on. behalf of the City, or for the purpose of rendhring any service to or for the City, or for the purpose of offibial- ly reprdsenting said C1 ty. or any commission or department thereof, said officer or employhe shall be alldwed as the travellng expenses inbident to said.. service the actual cost of transportation, including Pullman charges, together with a per diem. allowance in an amount not to exceed $1.00 per duy for each and every' day w1114 said officer or employee is absent on said. official business.
