WHEREAS, Key System on August 6, 1941, filed with the Railroad Commis-
sion of the State of California its application, No. 20582, entitled "IN ERE
VATTER OF THE APPLICATTON OF BEM SYSTEM, A CORPORATION, FOR A CERTIFICATE OF
FUETIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY DO OPERATE CERTAIN MOTOR COACH ROUTES", to
provide a direct motor coach service between the City of Alameda and the City.
and County of San Francisco, between the hours of approximately nine 01clock
four o'clock P. MA, and after approximately seven ovelock P. MT on
week dEww and all day on Sundays and Holidays, over ce11 tair. designated streets
in the City of Alameda, and for permission to change the route of the
Lincoln Avenue line ann the "1/" Enclnal line in certain particulars, all as

WHEREAS, this Council is familiar with the aforesaid plwn for the
operation. of said. service ann 101 th. the contents of said application; and
WHEREAS, it is thw consensus of this Council that said proposed.
service represents a definite improvement over the present service furnished
by the. Key System, and that it is in the public interest that such. application
be grantedm
NOW, =REWORK, EE IT RESOLVED B7 TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALARMDA
that this Comncil hereby endorses the direct motor coach service as proposed. 13,
Key System in said supplemental application and the proposed changes in routing
of said. Lincoln Avemue and. Encinal Apenue lines, and respectfully. requests that
the Railroad. Commission issue its order authorizing thn inauguration of said.
service as soon as possible.
