WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda did, on thb 17th day of ,T11.1aU, 1941 bass its Rrsolutirn. No. 2625 declarimg its intention. to order thb closing up of that portion. of Park V1 100 in the City or Alameda lying south. of the southerly line of Roosevelt Drive more particularly deecribed. in sain reso- lution of intention as follows: BEGINNING at the most Western corner of that certain tract of land now known as Roosevelt Drive, de- scribed in the deed. from Smith Lumber Company, a cor- poration, to the City of Alameda, a municipal corporation, dated. Iuly 29, 1933, and recorded August 7, 1933, in Liber 2943 of Official 3.r10 of Alameda County at bade 283, running thence. Nerth 56* 50' 30" West anb aleng the Southerly line of Roosevelt Drive One NnnAred Ten (110) feet to a point, said point being the true point of com- mebrement; thence Northerly on a curve to the left, tangent to said line, the radius of which CUTVe is Ten (10) feet, a distance of Fifteen snE T1/100 feet; thence North 56* 50' 30" West Sixty (60) feet to a pointt taerce Westerly on a curve of Ten (10) feet radius, the center of which. curve lies North 568 50' 30" West Tbn (10) fbet fr0 m. last said. point, a distance oh. said curve of Fifteen and 71/100 feet to a point; thence South 56* 50' 30" Fest Eighty (('0) feot to the point of commencement, situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State 10 California; and. WHEREAS, no land web deemed necessary to be taken, or will.. be taken, for the work and improvement of closing said street, and the exterior boun- daries of the district of .10 3. be affected or banefitted by said.. work or impr(vement, and. to be 1'. 10 to pay the (Damages, costs and. expenses thereof, are the corporate boundaries of the City of Alameda; and WHEREAS, 13 appears that it is not necessary to assess any lands to pay the damages, costs and exbenses of said improvement; and WHEREAS, on the 21st day of june 1921, the Street .10 -10. of the City of Alameda caused. to be conspicuosly posted along the lines of said contemblated work: and imbrovembng, at not more than 300 feet ih. dlstance apart, and not less than threg in. all, noticeg of the passage of said resolution, in time, form and manngr required by law; and WHEREAS, thg said Street Superintendent also caused a notice, similar substance, to be published. for a period of ten days, and for at least four successive semi-weekly inbertions, in the Alameda rimco-Star, a daily newspaper of general circulation publisred end oirc11 laten. in said.
