REQUESTING CANCELLATION OF TAXES ON PROPERTY ACQUIRED
41 THE CITY OF ALAMEDA FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the parcel of real property situated in the City of Alameda,
County of Alameda, Gtate of California and particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Western line of Oak
Street, distant thereon Two Hundred and Seven feet, eight
inches northerly from the point of intersection thereof with
the Northern line of Santa Clara Avenus, as the same now
exists since the widening thereof, running thence northerly
along said line of Oak Street, Cr hundred and Fifty seven
feet, eight inches; thence at right angles Westerly One
Hundred and Fifty feet; thence at right angles southerly
one hundred and Fifty seven feet, eight ins:nes; and thence
at right angles Easterly One hundred and fifty feet to ths
point of beginning.
Being portions of Lots Numbered 10, 11 and 12, in
Block Numbered 37, as delineated and so designated upon
that certain Map entitled, '0ap of Land Adjacent to the
Town of Encinal, Alameda Co. Cal." etc., filed May 28, 1867
in the office of the Recorder of the said County of Alameda.
has been assessed her etofore for county purposes for the fiscal year 1941-19/42
and Inc taxes levied thereon are uncollected and unpaid; and
WHEREAS, after the time said assessments and taxes became a lien nn
said parcel of real property, to-wit, on May 14, 1941, the said carded of real
property was acquired for municipal purposes by the City of Alameda, a munici-
pal corporation, by a certain deed. of grant recorded 'June 28, 1941, in the
office of the County Recorder of said Alameda County, in Book 4065, Page 403
of Official Records; and
WHREAS, ever sinse the said 14th day of May, 1941, the said parcel
of real property has been, and now is, owned by said City of Alameda and be-
cause of such public ownership said real property is not subject to sale for
delinquent taxes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVRD NY THE COUNCIL 04 THE CITY OF AIANEDA
that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Alameda be, and it is hereby,
requssted to make its order, and to take such further proceedings ar may be
necessary, to cause all uncollected taxes, assessments, penalties or costs
charged or levied for county purposes upon the aforesaid parcel of real
property to be donceled, and that a record of such cancelation be made by Inc
officer or officers having custody of the record (hereof, in accordance with
111 provisions of Section 4986 of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the it
of California.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 21st day of October, 1941, by the following
