13 PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA FOR MUGICIPAL PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the following describeb reel. property situated in the City of
Alameda, County of Alembda, State of California, to-wit:
Beginning at a point on the Western line of Calk Street,
distant thereon Two Hundred anb. Enver. feet, eight inches
northerly from. the point of intersection thereof with the
Northern line of Santa Clara Avenue, as the same now emiuts
since the widening thereof; running thence nurtherly along
said. line of Oak Street, Onn Ebnbred aad Fifty seven feet,
edght inches: thence at right angles Westerly. One Hundred.
•and Fifty feet; thence at right angles southerly one hun-
dred and Fifty seven feet, eight inches: and. thence at
ridat anmles Easterly One hundred. and. fifty feet to the
point of beginning,
Being portions of Lbts Numbered 10, 11 and. 12, in
Block Numbered 37, as delineated and so designated. upon
that certain Map entitind, "Man of Land Adjacent to the
Town, of Encinal, Alameda Co. Cal." etc., filed May 28,
1867 in the Office of the Recorder of the said County of
Alameda,
has been assessed heretofore for city purposes for the fiscal year 1941-1942 and
1 1 taxes levied thereon are uncollected and unpaid; and
=ETAS, after the time said assessmbnts and tamps became a lien on sadd
real property, the same was, by deed recorded in tbn office of the County Recorder
of Alameda County on Pune 28, 1941, acquired, and ever since has been, and nbw is,
owned by the City of - 10 0 municipal corporation, and. because of such 1 public
ownnrstip is not subject to sale for delinquent tames;
NUW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY REF COUTICTI, OF TEE CITY OF ALAMEDA,
with thn written consent of thu City Attorney attached hereto, that all uncollected
taxes charged. or levied for city purposes upon. the aforusaid real property, together
with penalties and costs thereon, be, and the. same are hereby, canceled, and the
Auditor and Tax Collentor of the City. of Alameda are hereby authorined and directed
to canuel the same on their respective, books.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that tnb foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and. adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regu-
lar meeting assembled on the 4th day of lbunmcber, 1941, by the following vote,
to wit:
