ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONE FOR FURNISHING GASOLINE TO THE
CITY OF ALANEDA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1942-1943, CALLING
FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE THE
SAYE.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TIT CITY OE ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing gasoline to the City of Alameda for the fiscal year
1942-1943, No. MS 1-422, filed in the office of the City C]erk on January 6, 1942,
be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 5:00 o'clock P, M., on Tuesday, January 13, 1942,
for the furnishing to the City of gasoline for the fiscal year 1942-1943 in
accordance with said. Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to
the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and
plainly narked on the outside "Proposal for Gasoline".
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of
the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and
best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the AlaIreda Times-
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.

in regular meeting assembled on the 6th day of January, 1942, by the following
