WHEREAS, ay indenture datod February 19, 1912, executed between Central
Pmcifie Railway Company, a corporation, and Scant:ern Pac Company, a corporation,
as first parties, and City. of Alameda, a municipal corporation, acting by and

and convoyad to the City of Alameda. the right and. easement to reconstruct, main-
tain and operate a 1.3 h. v. power tranamassion line upon, along and across cer-
tain strips 1313, 131 1. of land 12 feet wide situated. in the City of Alameda,
County. of Alameda, State of California, and more particularly described in said
indenture; and
SHEREAS, said indenture has been duly executed and delivered to tho
City of Alsaada:
NOW, IBEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY' TDB COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the aforementioned indenture be, and. the 13? is hereby, accepted on. behalf
of the City of Alameda, and said City Council, acting for and in behalf of said
City hereby consents to the recordation of said indenture and orders this reso-
lution. to be attached thereto, as required. by Section 1158 of the Civil Code of
the State of California.
