AUTHORIZIKC PURCHASE CF ROCK, SAND AND CGTICRETE HIX, FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR 1942-1943 IN THE OFEE MAR12,,T,
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore adopted
Specifications and. Provisions No. MS 6-424. for furnishing materials and supplies,
to wit, rock, sand and concrate mix, to said City for the fiscal year 1942-1943,
and duly advertised for sealed bids thereon as provided by the charter; and
WHEREAS, no valid bids were received in response to said advertise-
mart;
000, THEREFORE, EE IT RESOLVED that such materials and supplies,
conforming to said specifications, be purchased by the City in the open market
and without further call for bids.
the undersigned, hereby cemtify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of July, 1942, by the following vote,
to wit:
