AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF RENTAL AGREEMENT WI1H ;MUNSON,
3-AE & PIPER, INC., COVERING ONE TEN-TON HUBER GASOLINE
ROLLER.
VAS, Johnson, Drake & Piper, Ina., has offered to lease from the
City of Alameda one ten-ton Huber Gasoline Rofler, Serial #31990, Engine No.
270058, at the basic monthly rental of $200.00 per month; and
WHEREAS, a printed form of agreement entitled "Equipment Rental Agree-
ment With Recapture Provision", (Bureau of Yards and. Docks, Navy Department,
Form FS 513 (Y&D)), containing the covenants and agreements to be stipulated.
and agreed upon between the City of Alameda and said Johnson, Drake & Piper,
Inc., for the rental of said equipment, has been submitted and read to this
Council at its adjourned regular meeting held January 12, 1943, and the Council
is familiar with tha terms thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED EY THE COUNCIL 0 THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the form of rental agreement hereinabove referred to, and. the terms, agree-
ments and provisions thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved, and that
said equipment be leased to said Johnson, Drake & Piper, Inc. upon the terms
and conditions set forth in said agreement.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Mayor of the City of Alameda is hereby
authorized and directed to execute e rental. agreement substantially in the fora
and containing the covenants, agreements and provisions set forth in the afore-
said form of rental agreement.

1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in adjourned regular meeting aosembled on the 12th day of January, 1943, by the
following vote, to wit:
