ADOPTIrG SPECIFICATIONS FOR OPERATING REFRESHIJENT
CONCESSION IN WASHINGTON PARK AND LINCOLN PARK FOR
THE PERIOD COLIIENCING JANUARY 1, 1943 AND ENDING
DECEMBER 31
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the specifications
for operating refreshment concession in Washington Park an in Lincoln. Fark, in
the City of Alameda, California, for the period commencing January 1, 1943 and
ending December 31, 1943, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will re-
ceive sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock p. m. on Tuesday, February 2,
1943 for the privilege of operating refreshment concession in Washington Park
and in Lincoln Park, in the City of Alameda, in accordance with said specifi-
cations. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, in
Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal. for Fark Concession."
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the responsible bidder wno
submits the highest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all
bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda. Timea-
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of
this resolution and of said specifications.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 12th day of January, 1943, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Branscheid, Howe, Jones, Maurer and President
Godfrey, (5).
NOES: None.
ASSENT: None.
