DESIGNATING PORTIONS OF SANTA CLARA AVENUE AND BROADWAY
STREET IN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AS STREETS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF ALAMEDA that, pursuant to the
provisions of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California and par-
ticularly Section 195 thereof, the following public streets within the City of
Alameda, to wit:
Broadway Street from the northerly line of Encinal
Avenue to the northerly line of Santa Clara Avenue;
Santa Clara Avenue from the easterly line of
Webster Street to the easterly line of Broadway Street,
and the same are hereby, designated as "Streets of Major importance" within
the meaning of said Streets and Highways Code,
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 17th day of August, 1943, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Branscheid, Howe, Jones, Osborn and President,
Godfrey, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the offi-
cial seal of said City this 18tb day of August, 1943.
