Resolution 02939RESOLUTION NO. 2939 ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING RECREATION SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT TO THE CITY OE ALAMEDA, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE THE SAME. RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions for furnishing Recreation Supplies and Equipment to the City of Alameda, No. MS 12-436, filed in the office of the City Clerk on. December 7, 1943, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock, p. m., on the 21st day of December, 1943, for the furnishing to the City of Recreation Supplies and Equipment in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside "Proposal for Recreation Equipment." Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. Ths right is reserved to reject any or all bias. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times- Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by Inc Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of December, 1943, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Branscheid, Howe, Jones, Osborn and President Godfrey, (5).
