RESOLUTION NO. 2940
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURBISHING THREE (3) T0-DOOR
SEDAN AUTOMOBILES TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, CALLING FOR BIDS
AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE THE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OV THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing three 0) new, 1942 model, two-door sedan automo-
biles to the City of Alameda, No. MS 12-437, filed in the office of the City Clerk
an December 21, 1943, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will re-
ceive sealed bids up to the hour o 5:013 o'clock p. m., on the 28th day of Decem-
ber, 1943, for the furnishing to the City of three (3) new, 1942 model, two-door
sedan automobiles in accordance with said Specifications and. Provisions. Bids
must be presei ted. to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under
sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Automobiles."
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any- or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specificationd and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foreNing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 21st day of December, 1943, by the foll.owing
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Bran.scheid, Howe, Jones, Osborn and President
Godfrey, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Bone,
