AUTHORIZING PURCHASE CP THREE (3) TWO-DOOR SEDAN
AUTOMOBILES IN THE CPFN MARKET.

WHEREAS, this Council, at its regular meeting held December 21, 19413,
adopted Specifications and Provisions Yu. I 12-437, for the furnishing to the
City of Alameda of three (3) two-door sedan automobiles, and directed the City
Clerk to publish call for bids; and.
WHEREAS, call for bids for the furnishing of said automobiles was
published in the official newspaper of the City on December 22, 1943 and no
bids for the furnishing of said automobiles were received within the time
specified in said call for bids;
NOW, THEREFORE, F.F. IT RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CTTY OF -ALAMEDA
that the City Manager is hereby authurized and directed to purchase three (3)
two-door sedan automobiles, in accordance with said specifications, in the open
market.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 29th day of December, 1943, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Branscheid, Howe, Osborn and President Go fr y, (4).
NOES: None.
ADSENT: Councilman Jones, (1).
