:THE:TEAS, the Ezst Bay Division. of the League of Oaltfornla Cities at stated
intervals holds meetings in various cities in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties;
and
Wafd1MAS, the purpose of such meetinds is to Sisohos municipal affairs and to
assist the officers doh employees of the various itian in said counties in bet-
tering. munal government and to train them in the proper performance of their
duties in their respective cities; and
WEBREAS, this Council finds that it io for the public interest and welfare
of the City of Ala :soda that certain of its officers and amployees attend such
mestinss for the porpoce of resod/Mips inTernatian and instruction. in. connection.
with city buniness;
. N0a, THERE:PORE, hue officers and employees ct the City of Alameda, hereine
eftar haned. are hurety authorised to attend. the meztinps of the East Boy. Division
of hen imeghe of California Gigies and any radah. officer or employee so attending
shall be allowed the trayelihp efmennes incident to said attendance in the manner
ann. to the extend provided in. Resolution.. No. 2890, adopted by this Council July
20, 101„3, or in any other. resolution. hereafter adopted fixing thn per diem aliew -
once for traveling expenses.
The officers and ahployees autherized to attend addl. meetinss are as
follows:

"2.) The officers set forth in Secs. 2-1, 2-2 and 2-3 of the
chzrter, their aesistarme and. deputies, and. all heade of
departments and headn of administrative offices;
