RESOLUTION NO. 2972
ATPCINTING MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to the
provisiona of Article 1. of the Charter of the City of Alameda, and upon nomi-
nation of the Mayor., William H. Hitchings is hereby appointed to the office of
member of the Board of Education of the City uf Alameda for a term commencing
on July 1, 1944 and expiring on June 30, 1949 and until his successor is
appointed and is qualified.

I, the underaigded, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 17th day of May, 1944, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: CounciLmen Branscheid, Howe, Jones, Osborn and President
Godfrey, (5).
NOES: Nona.
ABSENT: 'None.
