ADOPTING SFECIFIC , ITUD PROVISICINS FOR RATETIES AND
BEOGRAD:ENG EVITIRTOR OF BIRD SHAH:EON NO,_2.
WHEREAS, putlics interest and. necessity require the tamtbsing 13 11 decorat-
ing of the exterior of Eire Station No. 2 located at 635 Pacific Avenaa in the
City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, the City. Eagineer ham prepared Specifications and Provisions
for paintimg and decorating the exterior of said five station, wndch Specifications
and. Provisions are numbered PR' and were filed in. the office of the City
Clerk of said city on September 19, 194E;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CRUMBLS, OE' ITTE 01= OF ALAMEDA
that the aforesaid Specifications and Provisions, numbered end filed as aforesaid,
be, and the same afe hereby, EmEmAfve11 . and adopted-
aBSOLVEDo FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work spe-
ed in said Specifications and Provisions be, end the same is hereby, aotherized.
RESOLVED,
13 11 that the Council of the City of Alameda whll receite
sealed bids um to the hour of 6:06 o'clock, p. m., on Tuesday, October 3, 1944,
for the 013 to the City. of Alameda of all labor, material and earMsfaent
necessary for the painting and decorating 131 Fire Station No. 2 located at 635
Pacific. Avenue in the City of Alameda, in. accordance with said Specifications and.
Provisionv. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hail, ir. Ala-
meda, California, under 1313 (.111 and plainly marked on the outside "Proposal
for Fire Station No. 2," 02 similar designation-
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
charter of said. City, to ,L, responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. Ete right is reserved to reject any or ail bids.
Said Specifications end Provisiens may be tad ty any prospective bidder
on application to the City EMghneer, at his office in. the City Bell, Elevedbm
California.
