RESOLUTION NO. 3045
ADOPTGNG SPECIFICATIONS AND PROVISIONS FOR. PAINTING AND
RECORARING ITKIRRIOR OF FIRE STARION NB. 3.
WHEREAS, public interest and. necessity require the painting and decorat-
ing of the exterior of Piro Station No. located at 1003 Grand Street kn. the City
of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared. Specifications and. Provisions
for painting and decorating the exterior of said fire station, which Specifica-
tions and Pkovisions are numbered Yid 9-Wde7 o, d were filed. in the office of the
City. Clerk of said City on. September 19, 1944;
BOW, THEREFORE, BE IT REEOLVED BY 'Mild COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF AIRY-ERA
that the aforesaid Specifications and Provisions, nbmbered and filed as afore-
said, be, and. the same are hereby, approv1 d. snh. adopted.
RESOLVED, EUETHER, that the performance and. completion of the work
specified in said Cephifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby,
authorized-
RESORVERG FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed. bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock, pe ni, en Tuesday, October 3, 1944,
for the fuTnishing to the City of Alameda olkall labor, material and. equipment
necessary for the paitting and decorating of Fire Station No. 3 located at 1703
Grand. Street in the City of Alameda, in accordance with said Specifications and.
Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City' Hall, in Ala-
meda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on.. the outside "Proposal
for Fire StaGion No. 3," or similar designation.
Contract, if. awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions. of the
charter of said City, to the responsible bidder whe submits the lowest and best
bid. The rigft is 03 1111 to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be hat) by. any prospective bidder
on afTlisation to the City. Eng:Ibsen, at his office in the City Nall, Alameda,
California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to adwertise, in. the Alameda Times-.
Star, a notice calling for sealed. "(kids in accordance with the proeisions of this
