RESGLUTION NO. 3054
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS .E.N0 PROVISIONS FOR REPAIRING OF
SIDEWALKS, CURBS AND CTIMUtS FOR THE FISCAL NEAP ENDING

WHEREAS, public interest and necessity require the repairing of side-
walla, curbs and gutters in various public streets, or portions thereof, in the
City of Alameda; and
WPEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications and Provisions
for aaid work, which Specifications and Provisions are numbered P19 10-44-10 and
were filed. in the office of the City Clerk of said city on October 17, 1944;
NOW, THEREFORE, 3E IT RESOLVED 01 THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF Al
that the aforesaid Specifications and Provisions, numbered and filed as afore-
said, he and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work
specified in said Specifications ant Provisions be, and the same is hereby,
authorized.
RESOLVED. FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
scaled bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock, p. m., on Neinesday, November 8, 1944,
for the furnishing to the City of Alameda of all labor, material and equipment
necessary for the repairing of sidewalks, curbs and gutters in various public
streets, or portions thereof, in the City of Alameda, in accordance with said
Specifications and Provisions. Rids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the
City Hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on t,he
outside "Proposal for Repair of Sidewalks, etc.", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to tree provisions of
the charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and
best bid. Inc right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions racy be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City all, Alameda,
California.
Inc City' Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.

duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 17th day of October, 1944, by the followin
