RESOLUTION NO. 3061
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING ONE NEW BUSINESS
COUPE AUTOMOBILE, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING THE
CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SANE.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing one (1) new, 1942 Business Coupe automobile to the
City of Alameda, No. MS 11-44-8, filed in the office of the City Clerk on November
21, 1944, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 9:05 o'clock, p. m., on Tuesday, December 5, 1944,
for the furnishing to the City of one (1) new, 1942 Business Coupe automobile in
accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bide must be presented to the
City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly
marked on the outside, "Proposal for Business Coupe."
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
Resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 21st day of November, 1944, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Branscheid, Howe, Jones and President Godfrey, (4).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: Councilman Osborn, (1).
