ADOPTING SPECIFICATION'S ANL PROVISIONS FOR FAINTING
AND DECORATING INTERIOR OF CITY BALL.

decorating of the interior of the City Hall, located. at Santa Clara. Avenue
and Oak Street in the City of Alameda; and
9BETWAS, the City Engineer has Prepared Specifications and Pro-
visions for sainting end decorating the interior of said City Hall, which
Specifications and Provisions are numbered. IhN 12-44-11 and were flied In
the office of the City Clerk of said City on December 1944;
NOW, THEREFCRE, BE
1T RESOLVED DT THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY CT
AliiiiEDA that the aforesaid Specifications and Provisions, numbered and
filed in aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the perfermance ax d completion of the
work specified in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is
hereby, authorized.
RESOLVED, FCKTHER, that tte Council of the City of Alameda will
receive sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 ogclock, p. m., on Tuesday,
December 19, 1944, for the furnishing to the City of Alomeda of ail labor,
materials, methods and processes, implements, tools and machinery, except
as otherwise specified, necessary for the painting end decorating of the
interior Gf said City flail in accordance with said Specifications and Pro-
visions. Bids must be presented to the City Glerk, in the City Hall, in
lameda, California, unuer sealed cover and pihinly marked on the outside
'Proposal for Painting City Eall,(, or similar designotion.
. Contract, if awarded, will bn awarded, subject to the provisions
of the charter of said City, to the responsible bidder oho eubmitn the
lowest and heat bid. The right is reserved. to reject any or all bido.
Said Specifications and Provisions ray be had by any prospective
bidder or application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall,
Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is neraby directed. to advertise, in the Alameda
Times-Star, e notice calling for sebled bids in accordance with the pretii-
sions of this resolution and of said Specifications and Previsions.
