AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT CF DEPUTY CITY TREASURER
AT RATE OF FIVE CENTS A MILE FOR ACTUAL OPERATING
EXPENSE OF AN AUTOMOBILE OWNED BY BIM ,ARILE ON
ROUTINE CITY BUSINESS.
WHEREAS, John L. Barneich, Deputy Treasurer of the City of Alameda, is
required, to use an automobile in performance of his routine duties for the City;
and
WHEREAS, it is to the advantage of the City and in the public interest
that said John L. Barneich use an automobile owned by him in the performance of
said duties; and
WHEREAS, five cents (5J) per mile is the actual amount required to
operate said automobile;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that John L. Barneich, Deputy Treasurer of the City of Alameda, te, and he is
hereby, authorized to use en. automobile owned by him in the performance of his
routine duties for the City.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that said John L. Serneich be allowed five cents
(54) per mile as actual operating expense for said automobile while used by him
on said duties.
Upon presentation of proper vouchers showing actual mileage for which,
said car was used on routine City business as aforesaid, the City Auditor is
hereby authorized to allow and the City Treasurer to pay claims for reimbursement
for such actual mileage for which said car was used on routine City business.

I, the dndersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled. on the 2nd day of January, 1945, by the following
vote, to vit.
