FI4ING TES SALARY CF THE_ POSITION OF SENIOR-STENOGRAPHER-
CLERK IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF TEE CITY OF ALAMEDA,
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA as follows:
SECTION 1. The salary for the position of Senior Stenographer-Clerk
in the Police Department of the City of Alameda, effective March 21, 1945, is
hereby fixed as follows:
Senior Stenographer-Clerk, Class A - - 'N.40.00 per month;
Senior Stenographer-Clerk, Class 5 1.50.00 per month;
SECTION 2, For the purposes of this resolution, class designations
appearing after the title of the position shall respectively include all em-
ployees who have been in the service of the City in such position for periods
of time as foliews:
Class A: Less than six months;
Class B: Six months or more.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the provisions of this resolution shall
supersede those portions of Resolution No. 5009 and. of any other resolutions
in conflict herewith, and all such conflicting provisions are, to the extent
of such conflict only, hereby rescinded and annulled.

in regular meeting assembled or the 20th day of March, 1945, by the following
