APPROVING SECOND S1PFLEMENIAL MEMORANDUM CP AGREEMENT
FOR EXPENDITURE OF 1/4 CENT GAS FAX ALLOCATED FOR
STATE HIGHWAYS,
WHFREAS, a first supplemental. memorandum of agreement for expenditure
cf funds accruing during the biennium ending June 30, 1945, and allocated under
the provisions of Section 203 of the Streets and Highways Code upon State high-
ways, was executed by the City of Alameda on October 21, 1943, and by the De-
partment of Public Works of the State of California on November 1, 1943; and.
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda now desires that said agreement be
amended and Las submitted to said Department 0 supplemental program; and
WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Department of Public
'Works, Division of Higtways, has presented a second supplemental memorandum of
agreement covering the changes hereinebove referred to; End
WHEREAS, this Council has heard read said second supplemental. memo-
randum. of agreement in full and is familiar with the contents thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BF TT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAIEDA
that said second supplemental memorandum of agreement for expenditure of the
1/4 cent gas tax allocated fel' State highways he, and the same is hereby, ap-
proved, and the Mayor of the City of Alameda and the City Clerk are directed
to sign the same on behalf cf said City,
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of March, 1943, by the following
vote, to wit:
