AMENDING PARAGRAPH 5 OF RESOLUTION NO. 3081. FIXING
COMPENSATION FOR MRK IN EXCESS OE SPECIFIED nons
FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES IN THE STREET DEPARTMENT._
RESOLVED BY UTE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that Paragraph 5,
of Resolution Nc, 3081, passed January 16, 194,5, be, and the same is hereby,
amended to read as follows:
Persons holding the positions of Junior Civil Engineer, Street
Inspector, Field Assistant, Office Assistant, Survey Party Chief and En,ineer
ing Aid in the Street Department shall be paid for work over thirty-eight (38)
and up to forty (-0) hours per week et the straight time rate. The last men-
tioned employees shall be paid for all work in excess of forty' (40) hours per
week at the rate of one and one-half (1i)-) times the straight time rate based
upon their regular monthly salaries or daily wages.

duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 3ra day of April, 1945, by the following
