Resolution 0314722 RESOLUTION NO. 3147 AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO FILE APPLICATION WITH FEDERAL WORKS AGENCY FOR FEDERAL AID IN IMPROVEMENTS TO NORTH SIDE SEWER, WHEREAS, the Council has been informed of the need for certain con- struution work and improvements in connection with the North Side Sewer of the City of Alameda; and WHEREAS, under the terms of the Lanham Act, certain Federal funds in aid of such construction and improvements are available to the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to file with the Federal Works Agency the application of the City of Alameda for Federal funds in aid of the construc- tion of a storm water pumping plant and outfall pipe line for the disposal of storm waters from the North Side Intercepting Sewer, said construction to be located in the vicinity of the northerly prolongation of Bay Street. * * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th day of June, 1945, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Howe, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President Branscheid, (5).
