Resolution 03152RESOLUTION NO. 3152 APPROVING FIRST SUPPLEMENTAL MEMORANDUNI CF AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDITURE OF 1/4 CENT GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STREETS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE. WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, has presented a First Supplemental Memorandum of Agreement, in accordance with a project statement submitted by the City for expenditure of the 1/4 cent gas tax for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1946, allocated for streets of major importance other than State highways in the City of Alameda; and WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said agreement in full and is familiar with the contents thereof; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that said project statement be, and is hereby, adopted as the budget of pro- posed expenditures of the 1/4 cent gas tax allocated for streets of major im- portance other than State highways, and said First Supplemental Memorandum of Agreement be, and the same is hereby, approved, and the Mayor and the City Clerk are directed to sign the same on behalf of said city, said agreement to be binding upon the city upon its execution by the authorized officials of the State. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th day of June, 1945, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Howe, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President Branscheid, (5).
