RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AlliTIEDA that pursuant to the
provisions of Article X. of the Charter of the City of Alameda, and upon. nomina-
tion of the Mayor, Ur. Alice B. Burke is hereby appointed to the office of mem-
ber of the Board. of Education of the City of Alamed.a for a term commencing
July 1, 1945, and expiring Tune 30, 1950, or until her successor is appointed
and qualified.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of Tune, 1945, by the following
vote, to wit:
