APPOINTING MEMBER OF TEE BOARD OF EDUCATION.
RESOLVED HY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to the
provisions of Article X of the Charter of the City of Alameda, and upon nomination
of the Mayor, Milton C. Godfrey is hereby appointed to the office of member of the
Board of Education of the City of Alameda to fill the unexpired term of Rix Maurer,
resigned. Said Term will expire June 30, 1917, and Milton C. Godfrey will serve
until his successor is appointed and qualified.
1 the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 26th day of June, 194.5, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen. Howe, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Branscraid, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
