APPROVING SECOND SUPPLEMENTAL MEMORANDUM OF AGREEIVEW1
FOR EXPENDITURE OF 1/4 CENT GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STREETS
CE MAJOR IMPORTANCE.
WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Department of Public
Works, Division of Highways, has presented a Second Supplemental Memorandum
of Agreement, in accordance with a project statement submitted by the City
for expenditure of the 1/4 cent gas tax for the fiscal year ending Tune 30,
1946, allocated. for streets of major importance other than State highways in
the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said agreement in full and
is familjar with the contents thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, OF THE; CITY OF' ALAMEDA
TEAT SAID PROJECT STATEMENT BE, AND IT 05 HEREBY, adopted as the budget of
proposed expenditures or the 1/4 cent gas tax allocated for streets of major
importance other than State highways, and said Second Supplemental Memorandum
of Agreement be, and the same is hereby, approved, and the Mayor and the City
Clerk are directed to sign the same on behalf of said City, said agreement to
be binding upon the City upon its execution by the authorized officials of the
State.

duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in adjourned. regular meeting assembled on the 26th day of June, 1945, by the
following vote, to wit:
