AUTHORIZING EXECUMN OF ACCEPTANCE OF AGREEMENT MTN
FEDERAL WORKS AGENCY, BUREAU OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES
FOR FEDERAL RECREATION FUNDS.
VREREAS, there has been filed with. the Bureau of Commumity Facilities
of the Federal Works Agency in behalf of tee, City of Alameda (herein called the
"ApplicantT), an application for Federal assistance under the ao-called Lanham
Act, as amended, the "United States of America, acting by and through the Commis-
sioner of Community Facilities, Ls transmitted to the Applicant for acceptance
en Agreement of Federal assistance in connection with the Project referred tc in
said Application end described in said Agreement; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement has been duly read in open meeting, fully con-
sidered in accordance with all pertinent rules of procedure and legal require-
ments, and made a part of the AppKicant's public records by filing a copy there-
of in the office of tTe City Clerk under date of july 1945; and
WWEREAS, 10 is deemed advisable and in the public interest that aaid
Agreement be accepted:

that the said Agreement, a true and correct copy of which, including Inc Terms
and Conditions, has been filed with the City Clerk as aforesaid, be, and Inc

to execute, the City Clerk to attest and certify, and the City Attorney to
approve the aforesaid agreement by signing a duplicate original of this resolu-
