CREATING TWO POSITIONS OF EQUIPMENT OPERATOR IN THE PARKS
AND PLAYGROUNDS DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, PRE-
SCRIBING THE DUTIES AND FIXING THE SALARY THEREOF.
BE IT RESCLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AIAMEDA as follows:
Section 1. Two (2) positions of "Equipment Operator" are hereby
created and established in the Parks and Playgrounds Department of the City
of Alameda.
Section 2. The duties of the position of Equipment Operator, and
of the person holding such position, shall be as follows:
To operate light equipment and to do related work es required.
Section 3. The salary for each such position of Equipment Operator
be, and is hereby, fixed at $190.00 per month on the basis of a forty-hour
work week, and the straight time hourly rate is hereby fixed at $1.096; that
the hourly rate for over forty (40) hours work per week is hereby fixed at
$1.644.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of September, 1945, by the follow-
ing vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Howe, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Brensoheid, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
