AUTHORIZING CITY ATTORNEY TO FILE
BRIEF AS AMICUS CURIAE.
WHEREAS, there is certain litigation pending in the Superior Court
of the State of California, in and for the County of San Diego, entitled, "City
of San Diego vs. Southern California Telephone Company, No. 121084" and
WHEREAS, said litigation may adversely affect the City of Alameda;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to sign and file a
Brief as Amious Curiae in said action above referred to, on behalf of the City
of Alameda.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 1 th day of September, 1945, by the follow-
