RESOLUTION NO. 3227
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT WITH KENT & HASS,
ARCHITECTS, FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES IN CONNECTION
WITH NEW GOLF CLUB BUILDING.
WHEREAS, Kent i Hass, a partnership, architects, are willing to under-
take the work of preparing drawings and to direct and supervise the erection and
completion of a new Golf Club building to be located on the City of Alameda Muni-
cipal Golf Course on Bay Farm Island; and
WHEREAS, said architectural services, consisting of preliminary draw-
ings and the direction and supervision of the construction work in connection
therewith, require special services of a professional and technical nature, and
special technical skill;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the form of contract to be entered into by and between said Kent & Hass, a
partnership, architects, and the City of Alameda, submitted to this Council and
filed with the City Clerk of the City of Alameda this day, and the terms, agree-
ments and provisions thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Manager of the City of Alameda is
hereby authorized and directed to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, on
behalf of the City of Alameda, a contract substantially in the form and contain-
ing the covenants, agreements and provisions set forth in the aforesaid form of
contract.

duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the lEth day of September, 1945, by the follow-
ing vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Howe, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Branscheid, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
