ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PRVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
CONSTRUCTING. AND P0 r" A WOOD FRAME ISOIMENT SHELTER
BUILDING AT THE CITY OF ALALaDA CORPORATION YARD OP CRAND
STREET, CALLING FOR RIDS, AND DIRECVVIEC THE CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, public interest and necessity require the construction and
Painting of a wood frame equipment shelter building at the City of Alameda Cor-
poration. Yard cn Grand Street, and supplying all materials and labor and all
incidental work pertaining to the sane; and
MEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provi-
sions and Plans for said work, which Specificetions and Provisions are numbered
TW 10-45-0, and were filed in the office of the City Clerk of said City on
October 16, 145;
NOW THEREFORE, fM IT RESOLVED BY TEE GaDYCII Cr TEE CITY 07 ALAMEDA
that the aforesaid Specifications, Spacial Provisions and Plans, numbered and
filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adcpted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work
specified in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby,
authorized.
RESOLVED, 0100 0, that the COLliWil of the City of Alameda will re-
ceive sealed bids up to the our of d:05 o'clock P. M., on Tuesday, November 6,
1945, for the furnishing to the City of Alameda. of all labor, materials, methods
and processes, imniemehts, tools and machinery, except as otherwise specified,
necessary for the work heroinabove referred. to, in accordance with said Specifi-
cations and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City
Fall, in Alameda, California, under sealed. cover and Plainly marked Jr the out-
side !EProposal for Construction and Painting a.. Wood Frame Eduipment Shelter
Building at Corporation. or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will he awarded, subject to the provisions of
the charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and
best bid_ The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be haci by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Nall, Alameda,
California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordcnce with the Provisions of this
resolution and of said Spacificatione and. Provisions.
