APPROVING FORM AND ATITHORIZIER1 EIECUTION OF CONTRACT
WITH THE COUNTY OF ADAMEDA FOR TEE EXAMINATION
OF TUBERCULOSIS CONTACT CASES.
WHEREAS, in order to promote, the nubile nealth and sanitation of the
city of Alameda, and in order to prevent the spread of tuberculosis aad to slats
tuberculosis as an infectious disease under control, 1 is necessary that exami-
nation be made of persons who have come in contact in .Le family and otherwise.
01 .1 known cases of tuberculosis; and
Wropp the County of Alameda maintains a clinle whereby' through its
health officer, deputies and assistants, and with its equipment and facilities
sash. examinations can be made; .od
=RAS, the County of Alameda is willing to undertake to mace sucl .
examinations through its health clinic and its said health officer at the rate
of V,..00 per examination; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest and the interest of econeAy that
the City of Alameda contract with tho County of Alattoda for the rendition. 01 such
health service;

that the form of contract to be entered into by and between the County 011 Ala-
meda and the City of AlEmieds, submitted to the Council and flied with the City
Clerk of the City of Alameda this day, and tie torrid, agreements and provisions
thereof be ant the same are hereby, approved.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the city manager of the City of Alameda bo, and
he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, and the City Clerk to attest,
or behalf of the City o' Alameda, a contract substantially in the form and con-
taining the covenants, agreements and provisions set forth in the aforesaid form
of contract.
