RESOLUTION NO. 3248
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 3214 AND DESIGNATING CERTAIN
STREETS IN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AS STREETS OF MASON
IMPORTANCE.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that Resolution No. 3214,
adopted by this Council on September 18, 1945, be, and is hereby, rescinded.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that pursuant to the provisions of Section 195 of
the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the following streets
within the City of Alameda be, and the same are hereby, designated as Streets
of Major Importance, to wit:
A new street running from Lincoln Avenue at Park Street
to Versailles Avenue near the southerly end of the Fruitvale
Avenue Bridge.
A new street running from Lincoln Avenue at 8th Street
to a point in the easterly prolongation of Atlantic Avenue
500 feet, more or less, easterly from Webster Street.
A new street along the easterly prolongation of Atlantic
Avenue from Webster Street to a point 500 feet, more or less,
easterly therefrom.
A new street running from Lincoln Avenue at 5th Street
to Pacific Avenue at 4th Street;
as said streets are shown and designated in red on the map annexed hereto and
made a part hereof.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of November, 1945, by the follow-
ing vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Howe, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Branscheid, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
