ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING ONE NEW, STEEL
DODY AMBULANCE TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, CALLING FOR BIDS
AND DIBECTING TEE CITY CLESK TO ADVERTISE TEE SAME.
RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing one (1) new, steel body ambulance to the City of
Alameda, No. MS 11-45-10, filed in the office of the City Clerk on November 20,
1945, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock, P. M., on Tuesday, December 4, 1945,
for the furnishing to the City of one (1) new, steel body ambulance in accordance
with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City
Clerk, in the city Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly
marked on the outside, "Proposal for Ambulance."
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of
the charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and
best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of November, 1945, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Howe, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Branscheid, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
