RESOLUTION NO. 3257
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LICENSE AGREMENT WITH THE
UNITED STATES OF ANERICA FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, MAIN-
TENANCE AND USE OF AN ACCESS ROAD TO THE ARMY AIR
FORCE INTRANSIT DEPOT:.
WHEREAS, the United States of America, represented by the United States
Maritime Commission, has offered to grant to the City of Alameda a license for the
construction, maintenance and use of an Access Road over and across that certain
parcel of land situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of Cali-
fornia, and described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the north line of Tynan Avenue,
from which, point the intersection of the north line of Tynan
Avenue and the east line of Webster Street bears N 89* 10' E
a distance of 42.00 feet; thence North 5* 231 27" West for a
distance of 460.82 feet; thence South 82* 10' West for a dis-
tance of 2.88 feet; thence North 0* 50' West for a distance
of 61.39 feet; thence South 5* 23' East for a distance of
342.78 feet; thence along the arc of a 297 foot radius curve
to the left (the long chord of which bears South 12* 53' 27"
East a distance of 77.53 feet) through a central angle of
15* 00' for a distance of 77.75 feet; thence North 84* 361
33” East for a distance of 2.00 feet; thence along the are
of a 325 foot radius curve to the right (trie long chord of
which bears South 12* 53 27" East a distance of 84.84 feet)
through a central angle of 15* 001 for a distance of 85.08
feet; thence South 5* 23' 27" East for a distance 21.00 feet
to the north line of Tynan Avenue; thence South 89* 10' West
for a distance of 25.19 feet to the point of beginning; all
containing 0.08 acre more or less, in the location shown on
"Plan of Project California DA-UR 225 (1) Unit 2" dated. July,
1945, as Revised July 25, 1945, and outlined in red thereon; and
WHEREAS, a form of said license agreement, containing the terms and condi-
tions thereof, has been presented to this Council at this meeting, and this Council
is familiar with the conditions thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, DE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the aforesaid proposed license agreement, and the terms and conditions thereof, be,
and the same is hereby, accepted and approved by the City of Alameda, and the Mayor
of the City of Alameda is hereby authorized and directed to execute said license
agreement on behalf of the City of Alameda.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 4th day of December, 1945, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Howe, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Branscheid, (5).
NOES: None.
