AUTHORIZING POLICE OFFICER GEORGE F. RASMUSSEN TO ATTEND
NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY TRAFFIC INSTITUTE AT NORTHWESTERN
UNTURSITI IN EVANSTON, ILLINOIS, AND APPROPRIATING MONEY
THEREFOR.
7.1EREAS, a spacial course in Traffic Police Administration is to be
given at the Northwestern University Traffic Institute to be held at Northwestern
University, in Evanston, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, Police Officer George F. Rasmussen has won R JaMeS S. Kemper
tuition scholarship; and
WHEREAS, tine Council considers it advisable that Officer Rasmussen
attend. said Traffic Institute,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Police Officer George F. Rasmussen
be, and he is hereby, authorized to attend tho Northwestern University Traffic
Knstitute, at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, from February 4, 15460
to June 15, 1946; and
BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sun of Nino Hundred Fifty (1950.)
Dollars be, and tho same is hereby, appropriated to defray the exnenses thereof.

duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda.
