RESOLUTION NO. 3310
ACCEPTING CONVEYANCE FROM FANNY J. CHIPMAN OF CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTING TO TEE RECORDATION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, a certain indenture dated the 8th day of May, 1946, made ty
and between Fanny J. Chipman, as party of the first part, and the City of Alameda,
a municipal corporation, as party of the second part, was, on or about said date,
executed and delivered by said Fanny J. Chipman to the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS by said indenture, said Fanny J. Chipman granted to the City of
Alameda all that certain piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the
City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, described as follows:
Being the Easterly Thirty (30) feet of Regent Street
lying between the Southerly line of Otis Drive, (formerly
Bay Island Avenue) as said street and avenue are shown on
the Map entitled "justice Tract," and filed May 14, 1227,
in Liber 1594 of Official Records of the County of Alameda,
State of California, at page 179, and the line of meanders
of Alameda Basin between Stations No. 255 and No 256 as
said line is shown on the Map entitled "Map No. 2 of Salt
Marsh and Tide Lands situated in the County of Alameda,
State of California - 1871," and filed in the Surveyor
Generalls office, Sacramento, California; and
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda did, on or about said date, accept said
conveyance and acquired possession of the above described parcel of real property;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TFL CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the aforementioned indenture be, and the same is hereby, accepted on behalf
of the City of Alameda, and said City Couacil, acting for and in behalf of said
City, hereby consents to the recordation of said indenture and orders this
Resolution to be attached thereto, as required by Section 1158 of the Civil Code
of the State of California.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly' introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 21st day of May, 1946, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES; Councilmen Howe, Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and President
Branscheid, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
