ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING GASOLINE TO THE
CITY OF AIAMEDA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1946-47, CALLING
FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing
Item 1: Non Premium Gasoline:
Item 2: Ethyl Gasoline,
to the City of Alameda, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1946, and ending
Tune 30, 1947, No. MS 5-46-7, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock, P. M., on Tuesday, the 4th day of
June, 1946, for the furnishing to the City of:
Item 1: Non Premium Gasollne;
Item 2: Ethyl Gasoline;
in accordance with said Specifioations and Provisions. Bids must be presented
to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and
plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Gasoline," or similar designation..
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star,
a notice walling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
Resolution and of said Specifications and Provision.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 21st day of May, 1946, by the following vote,
to wit:

NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
