RESOLUTION NO. 3322
ACCEPTING OPTION OF PURCHASE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FROM I. O. GRANTHAM AND SHIRLEY A. GRANTFM, HIS WIFE,
AND CONSENTING TO THE RECORDATION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, a certain option of purchase of real property dated the 30th
day of Asril, 1946, made by and between j. C. Grantham and Shirley A. Grantham,
his wife, as parties of the first part, and the City of Alameda, a municipal cor-
poration, as party of the second part, was, on or about said date, executed and
delivered by said T. C. Grantham and Shirley A. Grantham, his wife, to the City
o4 Alameda; and
WFPRBAS, by said option said J. C. Grantham and Shirley A. GIantham, his
wife, granted tc the City of Alameda an option to purchase all of that certain
real property situate, lying and being in the said City of Alameda, and more par-
ticularly as follows, to wit;
BEGINNING at the southeast corner of acre lot 8 of the
Washington Woodward Survey, as the same appears from and in
the Recorder's Office of Alameda County; thence North 1* 35?
east 46.22 feet, nor" or less, along the western line cf the
old Bowman Ditch, to a point in the southern line of Pacific
Avenue thence north 88* 25? West along said line of Pacific
Avenue 290 feet to the western line of said lot 8, also the
eastern line of 4th Street; thence south 1* 35? west along
said eastern line of 4th Street 46.22 feet, more or less to
the southwestern corner of said lot 8; and thence south 88*
251 east along the southern line of said lot 8 a distance of
290 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
CONTAINING an area of 13,403 square feet, more or less,
on condition that said option be exercised by the said City of Alameda on or before
Au7ust I, 1946; and
WHEREAS, the said City of Alameda did, on or about said Cate, accept
said option;
NOW, THEREFORE, L IT RESOIVD EY TEE COUNCIL OF THE SI= OF ALAMEDA
that the aforementioned Option be, and the same is hereby, accepted on behalf of
the City of Alameda, and said City Council, acting for and on behalf of said City,
_hereby consents to the recordation of said Option and orders this Resolution tc
be attached thereto, as required by Section 1158 of the Civil Code of the State
of California.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 5th day of june, 1946, by the following vote,
to wit:
