APPROVING FORM AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT
WITH THE COUNTY OF AIAMEDA FOR THE EXANINATION OF
T.UBERCIILOSIS CONMOT CASES.
=FAS, in order to promote the bublic health and sanitation of the
City of Alameda, and in order to prevent the spread of tuberculosis and to place
tuberculosis as an infectious: disease under control, it is necessary that exami-
nation be made of persens who have come in contact in the family and otherwise
witt known cases of tuberculosis; and
=TEAS, the County of Alameda maintains n clinic whereby through its
health officer, deputies and assistance, and with its equipment and facilities
such examinations can be made; and
WHEREAS, the County of Alameda is willing to undertake to make such
examinations through its health clinic and its said health officer at the rate
of t1.00 per examination; and
WHEEREAS, it is in the public interest and the interest of economy that
the City of Alameda contract with the County of Alameda for the rendition. of
such health service;
NOW THEREFORE, or IT RES OLVJ7D HY 5M MJNOIL OF 'IMF, CITY OF ALAYEDA
that the form of contract to be entered into by and. between the County of Alameda
and the City of Alameda, submitted to the Council and filed with the City Clerk
of Inc City of Alameda this day, and the terms, agreements and provisions thereof
he, and the same are hereby, approved.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Mayor of the City of Alameda be, Inc . he is
hereby, authorized and . directed to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, on be-
half of the City of Alameda, a contract substantially in the form and containing
the covenants, agreements and provisions set forth in the aforesaid form of
contract.
