AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE OF CITY OFFICIALS AT TUE
CONFERENGE Oa' LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CIYEES AT SAN
LUGO CALIFORNIA AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, a conferenbe of the League of California Cities is to be heln
on Septemner 18, 17, 18 and 19, 1946, at San Diego, California; anb
EgIEREAS, the purpose of ouch conference is to discuss municipal affairs
and tb assist the officers of thb various cities in battering municipal govern-
ent; an
RIFFEPAS", this Council findb that it is for the public intemest and
welfare of the City of Alameda that certaim o its officers attend such confer-
ence for the purpose' of receiving information. and instruction in connection
with all business;
NOW, THEMITCRE, BE TT RESOLVED BY TPa! COUNCIL OF TETE CI= OF ALAMEDA
that the members of the City CouRcil. and such other officers of the City of
Alanada as may be designated by the City Manager be, and each of t1 en. is hereby,
authorized and directed to proceed to Son Diego, California, for the purpose of
attending said conference of the League of California Cities; and
DE IT FURTHER RESOIXED that the sum of not to exceed Five Punbmod
(500.) Dollars be, and the same is hereby) appropriated to defray the neces-
sary expenses of said trip.
