WITEREAS, hariNnd Bartholomew and Associates, a copartnership, City
planners of Si.. Louiz, Missouri, are willing 00 undertake the work of planning
and engineering studies for Alameda; and
WNFREAS, said. planning and engineering studies and the direction and
supervision of the surveys to be made in connection therewith require special,
services of a professiosul. and technical. nature, and special techxdmal skill;

that the form of contract to be entered into by and between said Harland Farm
tholomew and Associates, a courthership, City Piamners of St. Louis, Missouri,
and the City of Alameda, submitted to this Council and filed with the UPty Clerk
of the City of Alameda this day, and the terms, provisions and agmeements there-
of be, and the same are hereby, approved.
RTSOLVED, SCHYMPSR, that the City Manager of the City of Alamuda is
hereL, authorized and directed to execute, and the City Clerk: to attest., on
behalf of the City of ruirmusda, a contract subotaptially in the form and contain-
ing the covenants agreements and provisions set forth in the aforesaid form
of contract.
