AUTHORIZING FILING OF DISCLAIMER IN CONDEMNATION
ACTION INSTITUTED BY TEE UNITED STATICS OF ANT:LICA.
ILIENEAB, the City of Alameda has been. served as a defendant in an action
to condemn certain landt in said City, -which action is now pending 5'- the District
Court of the United States, in aad for the Northern District of California, ou-
io Dvision, entitled therein "United States of America, plaintiff, vs. Certain
Parcels of land in the City of Alameda, County o Alameda, State of California,
ANGLO-CALIFORNIA DALTOMAL BANK, et al, Do. 22484-44 and
WHEREAS, the title to Parcels 5, 5 and '5, subject of sold. action, vested
in zhe United States of America on the l211 . day of February, 1953, and siace said
day tho United States of America has Leen in possession of said laads; and
'REREAD., it appears trat the City of Alameda has no interett in said
yarcels 5, 5 and 7, es described in the Amendment to Complaint and Second Amend-
ment te COMplaiat OD file herein, and the Tax Collector ef the City of Alameda
advises thot there are he existing liens for taxes against said above ratmberod
parcels,
