ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS
FOR IMPROVEMENT OF GARFIELD AVENUE AND LIBERTY AVENUE
EASTERLY OF FERNSIDE BOULEVARD, INCLUDING STORM DRAINS
AND SANITARY SEWERS.
T731 513, public interest And necessity require the improvemnt of Gar-
field venue and Liberty Avenue easterly of Ferneide Bouleyrd, including storm
drains and sanitary sewers, and incidental work pertaining thereto; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provi-
5ions and Plans for said work, which Specifications and Provisions are numbered.
PW 8-46-9 and were riled in the office of the City Clerk of said city or September •
13, 1946;

RFS:OPTED, En T°- R , that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the 1101102 of 8:05 o'clock P. Y., o' Tuesday, October 1, 1.946,
for the furnishing to the City of Alrieda of all labor, materials, methods and
processed, implements, tools and machinery, except as otherwise specified, neces-
sary for the work' hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specifications
and provisions. Bids must bo presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, in
Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plaiily marked on the outside, 11Pro-

Boulevandu, or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the proviniens of the
Charter of said City, to tae resaonsible bidder who submits tee lowest and best

said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall Alameda,
California.
