CALLING FOR BIDS FOR LEGAL ADVERTISING FOR THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA. FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1954-195'5
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA. that said Council nill
receive sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 P. M. on Tuesday, June 1, 1954, for the
publication of all legal admertising of said.. City. during the fiscal year ending
June 30, 1955.
Such advertising must be published in. a newspaper of grneral circulation
published in the City of Alameda for a pbriod of not less than one yeah imnediately
preceding the making of such bid. and. having a bona fide paid circulation 1 at
lmast 2,500 copies.

• price per square for the 2.nd.. insertion;
• price per square 0 the 3rd and for each subsequent insertion.
aids must be presented to thh City Clerk, in the City Rail, Alameda,
California, under sealed cover and plainly marhed on the outside "Proposal. for
Legal Advertising".
Contract 0- 1313 legal advertining, if awarded, will be awarded. subject
to the provisions of the Charter of said City, to thr responnibie bidder who submits
the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The newspaper published by the bidder to whom such contract is awarded.
shall be known, for the term of such contract, as the "Official. Newspaper" of thb
City for legal advertisidg.
Tho City Clerk as hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star,
1 notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resoihtion.
